End-to-End Information and Process Management

In pathology laboratories, it is not enough to digitize only certain stages of the processes. True digital transformation is possible with a structure where access to information is possible at every step of the process, traceability is ensured without interruption, and decision support mechanisms are integrated.

That's why PathIQ goes beyond classic workflow solutions and offers end-to-end information and process management .

🧩 How Does the Process Work?

  1. Sample Acceptance and Security

In the first step of the process, sample acceptance, each sample is recorded with QR code and barcode technology. While the sample is guaranteed to match the correct patient and procedure, only barcode procedures are allowed in the operating room. Risky situations such as missing samples are reported systematically.

  2. Macroscopy Stage

During the macroscopic evaluation of the sample, audio and video recordings can be made. These digital contents are archived for both quality control and process transparency. With the integration of the cassette printer and automatic process recording, an error-free, traceable process is ensured.

  3. Microscopy and Expert Review

Microscopy screens specially designed for expert pathologists present all the patient's past information together. IHK, HK, IFA requests, new section or block requests can be made through the system. The process becomes interactive with case sharing, voice notes and intervention options.

  4. Reporting and Approval Process

Following the diagnosis phase, automatic and standard report generation is provided through the system-defined report templates. Approval processes proceed digitally, and reports are securely transferred to integrated hospital information systems (HIS/LIS).

  5. Archiving and Tracking

Cassettes, slides, blocks and all other pathology materials are archived digitally. All information such as where the material in the archive is, in which tests it is used or the possibility of retesting can be easily tracked in the system.

  6. Integrated Solution with Digital Pathology

PathIQ is directly integrated with digital pathology systems. It offers an integrated structure with image management systems (PACS), scanner infrastructures and clinical support systems. Thanks to alternative scanner capacities, voice-dictation systems and image-supported microscopy integrations, not only the process but also the quality of diagnosis is digitalized.

It provides a ready-made infrastructure for next-generation digital pathology applications such as remote access, collaborative case review, and advanced artificial intelligence applications.

Why End-to-End Approach?

  • It reduces manual intervention and minimizes the risk of errors.

  • All steps work integrated with each other, there is no loss of information.

  • Workload and responsibility are distributed evenly with role-based access.

  • Efficiency, performance and quality indicators are automatically monitored by the system.

  • Future-oriented investment: Fully compatible infrastructure for digital pathology applications.

PathIQ not only manages pathology processes, it also makes them visible, measurable and sustainable.

The flow of information is uninterrupted. Processes are under control. Diagnosis is supported by digital security.
